About Us, Ordering and Returns
Sunflower Leather makes all our items. We are a family team, Kurt and family.
Our concept is to give the customer a bag that is simple in appearance, but one that becomes a favorite because it's so functional and soft. Some of our best ideas come from listening to what customers tell us they would like to see in a bag, so if you catch us at a show and it's not too busy, speak up! We're happy to work with you to change a pocket here, or a strap there to make one of our bags work better for you. Designing bags is my favorite part of the business, and there are always plenty of new styles each season along with the old favorites.
We also make belts, which we sell at some of the shows. We use harness leather, and can work from your waist size or custom fit it right to you.
At this time we are happy to take your order if you call, email, or write to us with what you would like. We don't have an online ordering page. We take checks, and credit cards: MC, Visa, American Express, Discover.
If you purchase something at a show, we will accept a return at the show (new condition, undamaged, and unaltered) and issue you a full refund or a credit in the same way you paid for the item.
Exchange or merchandise credit only on items originally purchased at a show and returned after the show is over. This must be done within a reasonable time, to be determined by us based on how often we're in your area.
If you purchase something from online and it's not what you expected, of course we'll take it back. It also has to be in brand new, unaltered, resaleable condition, and not be a custom order. The time limit for this is two weeks from when your purchase was shipped.
The following are final sale:
- altered items including belts sized to you and bags with straps customized
- clearance items marked as sale
- custom orders
- items that are no longer brand new in appearance
Note: if we elect to make an exception to any of the above final sale or exchange only restrictions, we reserve the right to charge up to a 25% restocking fee. Most of the time it will be just a 5-10% restocking fee to cover basic processing costs. The higher amount is to cover any special circumstances.
